Knox Ladies Seminar
I am very excited to announce that I will be at the Knox Ladies Seminar (KLS) on November 8th and will have a table where you can purchase a copy of my book, Why Do I Write: My Personal Testimony at a slight discount. I want to have copies of my other books for sale as well, including the one being published the very next day, but it all depends on if they arrive in time. This will be the Knox Ladies Seminar's 38th annual seminar. They will have some amazing women of faith speaking on topics such as overcoming control, overcoming wounds, finding forgiveness, and living in freedom. Upcoming Book!
There has been a lot going on lately. The biggest thing being that I'm back to working full-time again. Amidst the chaos of figuring out how to work full time with a six-month-old baby, I have been working hard to get my next book ready. It has been a really tough time getting everything done in time, but I plan to have my next book published on November 9th. I should have the last round of editing done this week. The book is called Lost Ones of the Grian Order. This young adult sci-fi fantasy novel is about four characters faced with circumstances beyond their control. They must navigate their relationships and situations to figure out where they belong in Hyria. Hyria is a collection of five neighboring solar systems governed by the Hyrian government. Each system has its own subsystem of government run by an organized group named after that system. These groups have a tendency to commit illegal acts against the other groups leading the other systems as well breaking Hyrian laws. This includes being at constant war with each other. Killian, Miranda, Morgan, and Ulani must traverse this chaotic cluster of solar systems filled with espionage, space battles, strange creatures, pirates, and somewhat unusual planetary customs in order to find where they belong.

In July, I started posting a Saturday morning comic. I have decided to put a pause on this until after my next book is published so that I can focus on getting everything done. Follow along via the blog or social media so you don't miss out when my four unwitting stories discover that they have power and other valuable lessons. Other Published Works
Last month, I published the second edition of the first book I ever published, Shadows: The Beginning. This second edition fixes all the grammar issues from the first edition as well as expands on characters and plot. You can purchase the second edition in paperback or eBook.
My book, Why Do I Write? was published on July 1st! You can purchase it as an eBook or paperback. It is a reflective autobiography exploring various lessons I have learned in my life so far. It is my hope that by telling my story, that others in similar situations as me would be encouraged. Click the link below to purchase. It is available in paperback and eBook.
Other Upcoming Publications
After publishing my book in November, I will be done publishing this year. I plan to publish the second book in the Shadows series some time in February depending on how soon I can get everything done. Stay tuned for updates as I hope to publish two books next year. I have not decided on what book I will publish after the second book in my Shadows Series, but I have it narrowed down to two options, another young adult book and a children's book.
Writings in Progress
I have been working on a romance mystery novel. However, I had to stop and take a break for a little bit because of publishing deadlines. Once I have everything set, I will likely go back to this story that I have been working on. I have some other pieces I have been thinking about working on as well including a space novel loosely related to the book I am publishing in November, a novel that takes place during war time, and story focused on animals as the main characters.
YouTube Vlog
I am still working on getting my vlog on YouTube started. I finally got my YouTube channel started! I plan on posting a minimum of two videos a month. I want to challenge others to join me on my journey of acting instead of waiting for the "right" moment to do that thing we always said we'd do.
