Shadows Series Anniversary

My first book I ever published was Shadows: The Beginning. I published it as a highly inexperienced high school student on July 15th, 2014. Over the last twelve years I have learned a lot and just last year, I decided to publish a revised edition of my first book with grammar fixes and expansion of the plot as a symbol of starting fresh, a new beginning. It truly was a new beginning too. I published another book that fall. Then, in February of this year, I finally published the second book in the series. Now, I am working on finalizing everything for the third book in the series. If you haven't already, you can purchase the second book in the series here.
Other Upcoming Publications
I had planned on my next book I publish being a romance novel I am editing with a tentative release date in February 2027 followed by a book from my Shadows series, but since I have not made enough progress on it, I have decided to postpone that book's release to an unknown future date. In contrast, the third book in the Shadows series is very close to being ready to publish. In fact, I could have the inside of the book ready to be published this Fall. However, the cover is an entirely different story. Until I have a cover design, I am not ready to publish. Therefore, I will continue to plan on publishing it next year. For this year, I will keep working on my Stories Have Power: Origins series which I started last summer. I hope to have the rest of it posted soon.
Writings in Progress
Over the last few months, I wrote an entire first draft of a book. It was a very intense process with lots of world building, but we finished it. It is the third book in a series, and I can't wait to share it with you all. However, we have many years before that is possible just because of how long it is. That being said, I will continue to work on it, but my primary focus has shifted back to the Shadows series once again.
YouTube Vlog
Just when I started to finally get into a flow posting videos onto my vlog on YouTube, life happened. I got busy with the end of the school year and had to take a break. I have filmed a few videos and am working on editing. I plan to start posting again soon so be sure to subscribe so you don't miss my next video. If you haven't already, you can check out the last video I posted where I talk about the process for coming up with the cover for my latest book, Shadows: Red Planet.

Merch Store
The merch store went live in July of last year. However, when I did a quality check on some of the stickers, I was not pleased. I have been using a company that makes and ships the products for me. I have decided to close down the merch store for now. I plan to open an online merch store again in the future. However, for now, I plan on making my own products and selling them at local craft fairs. I plan to have three types of products: my books, stationary, and wall decor. This is not entirely new to me since I helped my grandfather sell antiques and things at flea markets when I was a little girl. That being said, I've never had a crafting business in my life and that is very different than buying and reselling antiques. While I have experience sitting at a table selling products, I do not have experience with the legal side of things. Also, I don't necessarily have a long list of craft fairs. For now, I am making products and attempting to declutter the materials that I really don't need so that I can better organize my office. I'll keep you all updated as I learn.
Stories Have Power

In July of last year, I started posting a Saturday morning comic. Now, I am preparing to post the rest of it. Follow along via the blog or social media so you don't miss out when my four unwitting stories discover that they have power and other valuable lessons. You can also purchase products featuring the four stories from the merch store. Be sure to follow me on social media
